A collective, uncompromised song in the wake of a tradition which is respected by forcing its boundaries. Angular structures which rise above a powerful sense of the continuous pulsation.
The deep, dense tenor of Francesco Bigoni unearths slanting, lyrical and unusual routes, inviting the tracing all around of panoramas of authentic jazz. Around Danilo Gallo's monumental bass winds the rhythmic mercurial game of Luca Dell'Anna and Massimiliano Sorrentini. Rootless is a quartet of noteworthy talents united by alchemic, creative ties to which are added, in this debut work already soaked in maturity, Simone Guiducci's magnificent visionary guitar.
